Meet our specialist

Tamara Milder is a consultant endocrinologist with broad experience in all areas of adult endocrinology. She graduated from UNSW in 2011 with first class honours and completed her specialist endocrinology training at St Vincent’s Hospital in 2018 with a strong focus on diabetes and metabolism. She was awarded her PhD from UNSW in 2025. Her thesis focussed on quality use of sodium-glucose cotransporter 2 (SGLT2) inhibitors – a critical medicine class for the treatment of type 2 diabetes. She continues to lead research projects about cardiovascular-kidney-metabolic health within the Medicines Intelligence Research Program at the School of Population Health, UNSW. Tamara holds appointments at St Vincent’s Private Hospital
